Positions (Multiple positions available):

Intermediate Architectural Designer

Position Duties:

 Working Drawings and Construction Documents for both ground up and interior design projects: [50%]

• Drafting and construction detailing
• Permit sets for submittals and city specific drawing sets, coordinating with expeditors
• Coordinating with consultants (structural, MEP, HVAC)
• Coordinating with vendors for product specification

Conceptual and Schematic Design: [30%]

• Design studies and iterations, views, and options for potential project vision
• 2D and 3D visualization studies for concept design
• Client presentations for initial stages of the project for design approvals and decisions
• Renderings, views, and visualization
• Coordinating with vendors for material exploration and structural solutions

Site Visits: [10%]

• Measuring and photographing worksites
• Ensuring work at site is as per architectural drawings
• Reviewing and noting site conditions

Scheduling, Estimation, Costing: [10%]

• Preparing work and project schedules for work timeline
• Estimation of building material, quantities, and associated costs
  • Estimating product quantities and coordinating between client and vendors to meet
         budgetary and lead time requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field, plus 24 months of experience as an Architect Intern or related occupation

Special Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience with Revit, and 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD, 3D modeling tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Vray for Sketchup, and Procore.
