[Interior Design] Fogarty Finger Creates a Champion-Level Home for New Heights Youth at Brooklyn’s Bedford Union Armory
Partnering with New Heights Youth, Fogarty Finger volunteered to develop the interiors, signage, and branding elements behind the non-profit’s new home in the Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center, previously known as Brooklyn’s Bedford Union Armory. Fogarty Finger tapped local makers and artists to bring the space to life, teaming up with muralists Efdot Studio, Peach Tao, Dek, and Stephanie Costello. Overhead in the student lounge is an installation of pennants by Oxford Pennant featuring the colleges where New Heights alums have attended. Hand-painted, eye-catching signage throughout the space is the work of Noble Signs, a local maker.
