After a much-needed repositioning of a 1990s-era residential tower, Anagram NoMad offers the convenience of communal amenities that are typically found in one of the neighborhood’s boutique hotels, with the benefits of living in an apartment that’s just an elevator ride away. The large picture windows invite passersby to gaze into the ground floor, where they can imagine sitting on a cozy window seat or a comfortable chair in the ground-floor library and lounge, which have been accessorized to make residents feel like they are at home in the urban environment.

The amenity spaces seamlessly flow from one into the another. They include a co-working space and a café, each distinguished by a bespoke design scheme to suit its purpose and accented with custom art and light fixtures. Found space doubled the size of existing amenities; for example, a disused oil tank in the sub-basement was removed to create a double-height fitness center that features a yoga room and climbing wall. Fitted out in partnership with wellness and technology company Delos, select units are equipped with air purification, water filtration systems, and lighting that mimics circadian rhythms, which can accessed and operated through an app. Residents can also take advantage of concierge services for assistance with errands, services, and food delivery from a restaurant on the first floor, which they can enjoy outdoors in a public garden tucked away at the back of the building.
