The Hazel

The new, multi-family, ground-up residence, the Hazel, offers 201 rental units atop six stories in Jersey City. Taking cues from its waterfront locale, glazed teal-green artisanal tiles are wrapped around the exterior side walls and inside onto the building’s ceiling. The same tile, configured in staggered panels on the exterior, is set against grids of pale grey brick, forging a rhythmic connection from the building to the streets.
